This cologne features predominantly woody accords and opens with notes of Sicilian lemon and sage. The heart contains anise, tarragon and cinnamon. The base is strong and detailed with scents of patchouli, amber, cashmere wood, vanilla, tobacco and cedar. This fragrance first entered the marketplace in 2007. After spending years working as a bookbinder, Etienne Aigner soon discovered a lucrative business in creating belts, bags and other leather goods. He sold leather products out of his New York apartment until he could open up his very own showroom on 5th Avenue. Women who were passionate about high fashion in the 1950s were flocking to his location. The company expanded its offerings in 1975 to include fragrances.

Aigner Man 2 cologne was developed by Rosendo Mateu and Pierre Wargnye. Mateu has over 40 years of experience in the industry while Wargnye's creations have earned numerous distinguished awards.
