1873 Colette by Histoires De Parfums for Women

1873 Colette Perfume by Histoires De Parfums, 1873 Colette by Histoires de Parfums is a hesperidic gourmand fragrance for women inspired by the vivacious genius of Frenchwoman Sindonie Gabrielle Colette.

The opening notes are cheerful and tart, interfusing bright citruses with bitter-sweet aromatic scents. Honeyed tangerine blends with mandarin and sparkling lime. This effervescent introduction dries down to a woody, floral heart of powdered violet, fresh and sweet orange blossom, lily-of-the-valley and lavender. The base notes create a warm, velvety backdrop of vanilla, caramel and musk. This sunny, carefree citrus and flower fragrance can be worn night or day, and is especially appropriate for warm spring and summer weather.

Histoires de Parfums is a luxury French perfume house founded by Gerald Ghislain in 2000. Ghislain created each of these distinctive fragrances to capture the essence of people, places and eras of time past. Other perfumes in the first volume of Ghislain's collections include 1889 Moulin Rouge, 1899 Hemingway, 1969 Parfum de Revolte, and 1740 Marquis de Sade.
