Housed in a vintage glass flacon with a small ribbon tied to the bottleneck, the blend opens dramatically with juicy top notes of orange, bergamot, and grapefruit. The blend then moves down into a spicy floral heart of saffron, violet, cardamom, black pepper, lavender, geranium, rose, ginger, lily of the valley, and jasmine. Base notes of cedar, vanilla, amber, tonka bean, vetiver, musk, moss, and tobacco work together to create the ultimately masculine fragrance ideal for casual daytime wear.
William Penhaligon founded the perfume house of Penhaligon’s in Britain in 1870. The company’s first fragrance was launched two years later, which established the brand’s popularity from that point forward. Today the brand has 75 fragrances in its collection, and the latest fragrance launch was in 2018.
