This perfume utilizes multiple parts of the kumquat fruit to produce its well-rounded and complex scent. The fruit of the kumquat is tart and a little sweet, while the kumquat peel is slightly bitter, and the flowers of the plant are citrusy and bright. The smoky, spicy note of myrrh contrasts pleasingly with the sweet and sour scent of kumquat. The balsamic, resinous scent is serious and refined, while kumquat is a bit more playful.
