Representing over 150 years of tradition, the German based fragrance house Maurer & Wirtz has stayed in the founding family for five generations and more than 150 years. First established by Michael Maurer and Andreas Wirtz, Maurer's stepson, the brand began as a producer of fine soaps in Stolberg, a small neighboring town of Aachen, Germany.

Until the early 1990s the company's main markets were in the European countries of Austria, Switzerland and Germany. However, in partnership with the Dalli-Werke Group, their exceptional fragrances can be found in sales outlets around the globe.
