Black Sukar Cologne by Xerjoff, Black Sukar is an enigmatic fragrance that combines the strength of precious oud, spice and musk with ethereal expressions of sheer florals and luminous citrus.
Opening notes are a light, fresh effusion of freesia and sparkling orange softened with floral nuances of pink pepper. As the scent settles, garden accords crescendo to a lush bouquet of velvety peony and Damask rose. A serene and magnetic finish fuses Laotian oud and dark whispers of vanilla with white musk to leave a lingering trail of unforgettable allure.
This floral amber musk was created by perfumer Chris Maurice. The scent was released by the Italian luxury label Xerjoff in 2012 as part of the attar-inspired collection Mukhallat. Other compositions in this oriental series include the woody and earthy white floral aromatic Java Blossom (2012), the soft spicy and floral vanilla oud King Masarat (2012) and the powdery yet fresh fruity floral musk Alexandria Ii Extrait Oil (2018).
