Bvlgari Calaluna by Bvlgari for Women
Bvlgari Calaluna is a women’s fragrance known for its woody spiciness. It has a distinct fruity top note of pear with heart notes of green cardamom and heliotropium, a very fragrant perennial plant known for its vanilla-like aroma. The base notes of iris, sandalwood, and musk mallow give the perfume its woody, musky, and floral character. There are also additional accords of powder, milk, and white iris. Its bottle is inspired by Roman urns, with a black body, white top, and gold trim.
Bvlgari is a longstanding jewelry house, founded by Sotirios Voulgaris in 1884. The brand is now also known for its accessories, handbags, watches, and fragrances, with the first scent launched in 1992. Bvlgari Calaluna was released in 2014 and created by perfumer Daniela Roche Andrier, who trained at Chanel in 1988 and studied perfumery in Roure. Calaluna, which was inspired by the semi-precious moonstone, is one of six fragrances in the Le Gemme collection of luxury perfumes.
