Costume National by Costume National, Costume National is a uniquely bold and citrusy fragrance launched in 2009. The opening notes of bergamot and grapefruit serve as a fresh pathway for the spicy middle notes of cinnamon, clove and thyme in the heart. The base notes of this scent include sandalwood, labdanum and earthy patchouli.

This unique and eclectic fashion house is Costume International, established in 1986. Brothers Ennio and Carlo Capasa developed this Italian company after Ennio finished his job working as an assistant for Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto. The first collection was presented in Paris in 1991 and was titled “Woman Collection.”

This company gained considerable popularity throughout the late 20th century for its avant garde, minimalist designs. In 2000, the brand went digital and released online content in collaboration with Kataweb. In the following years, the brand began producing eyewear, fragrances, footwear and accessories designed for new, younger audiences of the digital age.
