Demeter Coconut Cologne by Demeter, Demeter Coconut was actually inspired by a trip to Hawaii. The nearly edible scent comes from fresh, slightly sweet coconut rather than the processed fruit you find in stores.
Demeter has produced over 200 fragrances. Each of these perfumes is based on natural scents. While most fragrances feature top, middle and bottom notes, this brand creates perfumes with a linear composition that does not change. Co-founder Christopher Brosius makes the scents alongside nose Francis Kurkdjian. Some of the perfumes utilize floral essences. Others, however, use Headspace technology.
This technique involves taking the air near the source of a scent and separating the fragrant molecules. This allows the company to reproduce unique smells such as angel food cake and gin & tonic. The brand does not just sell perfumes, either. The company has various body care collections that include crèmes, scented oils, fragrant baths, body peelings, lotions and soaps. The business produces scented candles and furnishing fragrances, as well.
