Demeter Tea Olive Cologne by Demeter, Released in 2018, Demeter Tea Olive is a unisex floral fragrance with only one note – Osmanthus.
The plant’s Greek name translates as “fragrant flower,” an accurate description for this rich and creamy floral note. Native to southwestern China, this blossom gives off an intense aroma that resembles apricots and peaches. Woody, milky and leathery undertones give this fragrance a delicious and intricate scent profile.
Created in 1993, Demeter Fragrance Library produces uncommon fragrances with scents from the natural world and ordinary life. Avant-garde perfumer Christopher Brosius and business partner Christopher Gable launched the company, which released its first three scents in 1996 – Dirt, Tomato and Grass. With unusual fragrances like Ambergris, Gin and Tonic, Apple Blossom and Zombie, the brand soon gained popularity within the U.S. and abroad.
The company launched The Library of Fragrance in Europe, where it sells to customers in Spain, France, Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg and Germany.
