This perfume was designed by perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux in 2011 as part of Dolce & Gabbana’s Velvet Collection. Each perfume in the collection captures the luxury of velvet in their own unique ways. While the Velvet Wood is a uniquely dark perfume in aroma, it is light in color and bottled in glass with a dull gold cap.
