Hailing from Detroit, Anna Sui is an American fashion designer whose brand encompasses fashions, footwear, cosmetics, fragrances, eyewear, jewelry, accessories and home goods. The designer knew at the tender age of four that she wanted a future in fashion. It was around that time that her mother introduced her to fabrics and began to teach her to sew. Sui opened her first ubiquitous boutique in 1992 in Soho, New York City.
