Eau D'hadrien Perfume by Annick Goutal, Drawing its name from Hadrian, a famous Roman Emperor, Eau D'Hadrien is an exquisite unisex fragrance from Annick Goutal. This perfume was developed in 1981. The composition includes notes of grapefruit, cypress, Sicilian lemon, mandarin orange, lemon, citron, ylang-ylang and aldehydes.
Annick Goutal spent a good portion of her career as a model and pianist. However, when she decided to develop her own facial cream, she soon discovered she had an immense passion for perfumery. She wanted to get into the industry right away, so in 1980, she debuted her first perfume collection. Although she passed away in 1999, her daughter took over the brand and continues to oversee operations.
Goutal actually oversaw the development of Eau D’Hadrien along with perfumer Francis Camail. Camail has had a legendary career, and many of his creations have attained iconic status. For instance, this particular perfume was a winner in 2008 for the FiFi Award Hall of Fame.
