Eau D'orange Verte Cologne by Hermes, Eau D'Orange Verte is a men’s citrus cologne with citrus, green, aromatic, earthy, and woody main accords. This scent is a recreation of an earlier fragrance from 1979 and was developed by in-house perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena in 2009.
It blends the citrus notes of orange, Amalfi lemon, and mandarin orange with vetiver, mint, cassis, and patchouli. Recommended for spring and summer day wear, the fragrance has soft sillage and brief longevity.
Hermes, founded in 1837, was first a producer of equestrian accessories such as harnesses, bridles, and saddles. The first bag was created in 1900 to allow horse riders to carry their saddles. Today, it is known as a luxury goods house that sells leather bags, scarves, watches, ties, fashion, shoes, jewelry, accessories, and fragrances. The company was founded and still based in Paris, France. The brand entered the fragrance market in 1951 and has continued producing new scents, which are created and produced in-house to maintain quality and control.
