Eau De New York Perfume by Bond No. 9, Bond No. 9 launched Eau De New York in 2004, a green floral fragrance with citrus and woody accords.
This unisex scent includes top notes of grapefruit, mandarin, petitgrain, bergamot and fresh greens. These citrus and sharp green notes pair well with a heart crafted with the floral essences of neroli, gardenia, white lily, verbena and cyclamen matched up with basil. Rounding out the aromatic profile are jasmine along with woody and soft tones of vetiver, oakmoss, skin musk and white wood.
It’s an undoubtedly complex parfum, the work of skilled nose Vera Vanore. Other triumphs to her credit include Marc Jacobs’ Splash Cucumber. As for Bond No. 9, the American fragrance label boasts more than 120 offerings released since its launch in 2003 by perfumer Laurice Rahmé. Although one might associate the name with the famous fictional British spy, it’s actually derived from the address of its iconic New York City boutique.
