Gf Ferre by Gianfranco Ferre, Refreshing, rejuvenating and irrepressibly cheerful, Gf Ferre Lei-Her is a youthful, fresh floral and woody fragrance that's ideal for spring and summer wear.
The opening notes are tart-sweet and effervescent, mingling tangy black currant, cassia and sparkling green apple with fragrant, fruity-aromatic undertones of litchi and bergamot. Lush white and green florals of violet, lily-of-the-valley and magnolia emerge as the scent develops, layered over a lemony fresh undercurrent of red rose. The dry down is a classic clean blend of cedar wood, amber, vanilla and light musk.
Lei-Her was released by Italian design house Gianfranco Ferre in 2004 in collaboration with Maurice Roucel. Named for its founding artist, the brand originally specialized in men's and women's fashion, introducing its line of luxury fragrances in 1984. Other perfume designers who have created for the house include Francis Kurkdjian, Jean-Charles Niel, Olivier Polge, Mark Buxton, Pierre Bourdon, Nicolas Beaulieu, Michele Saramito, Nathalie Lorson, Alienor Massenet, Alexandra Jouet and Karine Dubreuil.
