In The Mood For Love Tender by Gianfranco Ferre, In the Mood for Love Tender is a free-spirited fresh fruit and floral scent with breezy aquatic undertones.

The fragrance opens with a sparkling green and citrus blend of tangerine and fruity-aromatic black currant bud fused with light, lemony-floral aldehydes. Aqueous, clean florals emerge as the scent develops: a sweet, ethereal lotus accord mingled with jasmine and red rose. Base notes of benzoin and cypress ground the flowers of the introduction, producing a delicate vanilla musk finish that projects without overpowering.

Tender was composed by Alienor Massenet and released in the spring of 2011 by Italian house Gianfranco Ferre. Tender belongs to the label's In the Mood for Love collection begun in 2009, which features sleek, chicly modern bottles designed by Fabien Baron. Other fragrance designers who have worked with the company include Nathalie Lorson, Maurice Roucel, Nicolas Beaulieu, Francis Kurkdjian, Pierre Bourdon, Karine Dubreuil, Jean-Charles Niel, Mark Buxton, Alexandra Jouet, Michele Saramito and Olivier Polge.
