La Nuit De L'homme Eau Electrique by Yves Saint Laurent, La Nuit De L'Homme Eau Electrique, which translates to ‘the night of the man electric water’, is a romantic and sensual cologne that was introduced in 2017. It is described by the brand as ‘an uninhibited and intoxicating fragrance’ and its refreshing and fruity aroma combined with its woody notes and warmth make it just as perfect for during the day as it is for the night.
The scent opens with exciting top notes of lemon, green apple and mandarin orange. The middle notes are floral with geranium, orange blossom, lavender and sage and the base notes give the cologne longevity and consist of cedarwood, vetiver, patchouli, tonka bean, vanilla and cashmere wood.
Yves Saint Lauren was born in 1936, in French Algeria. As a young boy, he would design clothing for his sisters and mother. He worked for Christian Dior before launching his own brand in 1961. The label introduced its first fragrance in 1964.
