The scent opens with floral notes such as fruity bergamot, galbanum and cardamom. Rose and geranium form a lightly powdery heart. The warm, earthy base is comprised of musk, amber, sandalwood, oakmoss, vanilla and Brazilian rosewood. Lorenzo Villoresi is a prolific and active designer in the perfume industry, and he is perhaps best known for his custom perfumes and pot-pourri. He established a fragrance house under his own name in 1990, and he is also the author of numerous books over the art of perfume design. Villoresi is also the recipient of various artisan perfume awards including the Prix François Coty in 2006 to recognize his notable career achievements.
