Marina De Bourbon Rouge Royal Elite Perfume by Marina De Bourbon, Marina de Bourbon Rouge Royal Elite is a fruity floral fragrance for women by Marina de Bourbon.
Introduced in 2011 as a limited edition version of the Rouge Royal perfume, this fragrance is sweet and romantic like the original, but has deeper, more raw, and more sensuous base notes. The fragrance opens with fruity notes of strawberry, black currant and raspberry. The middle notes are heady florals of jasmine, rose and ylang ylang. The base notes include woody scents from sandalwood, vetiver and patchouli, as well as warmth from vanilla and amber.
Marina de Bourbon is the eponymous perfume line founded by the former Marina Gacry. As a young woman, she worked for the acclaimed hairstylist Alexandre de Paris, who first exposed her to the glittering circle of European nobility and royalty. She was introduced to Prince Andrew de Bourbon Parme and they were married in 1960. Although it was uncommon for her station, Princesse Marina worked in design and fashion until 1993, when she formed a partnership with perfumer Gilles Pommereau to start her own line of perfume. Her first fragrance was released in 1994.
