Montana Suggestion Eau D'or was introduced in 1994 and its translation from French to English is ‘golden water’. The beautiful glass bottle shows the pale golden scent and the decorative top is the same color. This spicy perfume is said by the brand to celebrate ‘the beauty of being a woman’, and its rich aroma makes it perfect for evening wear. The fragrance opens with fruity top notes of strawberry, bergamot and saffron. It then settles into the middle notes of Ciane papyrus and jasmine before you are left with the base notes of cistus labdanum and caramelized incense.
Claude Montana is a French designer who was born in Paris in 1949. He launched his own label in 1979 and it would quickly become known for its bold designs for women, mainly made from leather. It moved on to designing a men’s clothing line and then fragrances, with the first one released in 1986.
