Elemi, angelica, incense and star anise comprise a bracing opening, and the heart accord built around maple sap, cinnamon and lily wraps the wearer up in the here and now. The animalic base features suede, styrax, oakmoss, labdanum and tonka bean for an intoxicating aura that marks the moment in the wearer’s memory. This fragrance was created by Thomas Fontaine and released in 2015.
Celine Verleure launched Olfactive Studio in 2011 in the pursuit of a union between perfumery and the art of photography. The modern stylings of each fragrance draw inspiration from still-life and portrait photos that accompany the products’ packaging. Selfie is a unique example, eschewing a specific photo and instead turning to the modern practice of self-photography; in place of a portrait, the box features a mirror reflecting the viewer.
