Pierre Cardin Innovation by Pierre Cardin, Pierre Cardin Innovation is a woody spicy men’s fragrance with aromatic, floral, fresh spicy, sweet, balsamic, and citrus main accords. The scent is versatile, wearable day or night, all year round.
Launched in 2013, the fragrance starts with bergamot and neroli top notes, then leads to middle notes of lavender, plum, peony, fennel, and coffee. The base notes end with sandalwood, vanilla, oud, and tonka bean. The longevity is moderate while the sillage ranges between moderate and heavy.
Pierre Cardin is a fashion designer who started his career in Paris, France. He initially worked for Jeanne Paquin and Elsa Schiaparelli before working at Christian Dior’s atelier. In 1950, Cardin founded his own fashion house, creating haute couture through the 1950s until switching to ready-to-wear in 1959. By the 1970s, Cardin had created the mod chic trend, combining forms and lengths. He launched his first fragrance in 1972 in conjunction with Coty.
