Roja Gardenia Perfume by Roja Parfums, Released in 2012, Roja Gardenia captures the warm, creamy, almost narcotic beauty of its namesake flower.
A top note of bergamot leads smoothly into a heart composed of orange blossom, heliotrope, violet, jasmine, rose and mimosa, which evokes the classic and intoxicating gardenia fragrance. Base notes of peach leaves, clove, sandalwood, cedarwood, styrax, elemi and musk provide a soft, lush foundation. Roja Parfums is the line created by master perfumer Roja Dove. After twenty years at Guerlain, during which time he became their chief nose, Dove left to start his own company in 2001. Among the most respected noses in the field, Roja Dove is also a noted fragrance historian who frequently lectures on this topic at venues worldwide. A recipient of the Gordon Whitehead Award in 2000, Dove has also contributed to a documentary on the history of fragrance for the BBC.
