Silences Perfume by Jacomo, Silences is an elegant fragrance for the woman of timeless sophistication. Introduced in 1978, this beautifully layered, luxurious composition makes for a gorgeous signature scent.
The complex beginning is a mix of fruits, florals, and green notes. Crisp bergamot and lemon are softened by orange blossom and green galbanum. A dash of cassia adds an inviting bite of spice. The heart notes are a lovely blend of florals. Jasmine, iris, narcissus, rose, hyacinth, and lily of the valley combine for a plush, velvety bouquet of spring aromas. The base is a sensuous combination of ambrette, cedar, sandalwood, musk, vetiver, and oak moss. This lovely perfume lingers behind and leaves a lasting impression.
Tha Jacomo company was founded by James Kaplan and Gerard Courtin in the 1960s. The two designers originally sold apparel in a New York boutique. They began offering fragrances in 1970 with the release of Eau Cendree for men.
