Tom Ford Extreme by Tom Ford, Tom Ford Extreme is a fragrance that was released in 2007.
The scent opens with top notes of basil, chamomile, cardamom, coriander, cinnamon, citrus, and lemon. It closes with a base of balsam fir, caramel, leather, patchouli, rum, truffle, vanilla, vetiver, and frankincense.
The Tom Ford brand was created in 2005, but the man behind his eponymous company has a history working with the likes of Perry Ellis, Gucci, and Yves Saint Laurent prior to the creation of his own brand. Ford actually began by studying architecture at Parsons School of Design; however, his studies overseas with a fashion house sparked his interest in the industry. While with Gucci, the company acquired Yves Saint Laurent, and Ford was the director for one of Ysl’s ad campaigns. The campaign was a wild success under Ford, and indicated what could be expected in the future of his career.
