Triomphe by Rance for Women
Triomphe Perfume by Rance, Triomphe was originally released in 2009 but was reformulated for a 2015 launch. The aromatic fourgere fragrance blends in citrus, aromatic, spicy, woody and balsamic accords packaged in a simple, elegant bottle.
Opening notes mingle black pepper with bergamot and neroli, a tiny blossom with bitter, orange and floral tones. Afterwards, the heart combines Florentine iris and frankincense, lending their powdery, lemony and woody essences. Finally, the base notes feature more woody and earthy aromas from musk, sandalwood, vetiver, and cedar.
The Rance family’s presence in the perfume industry begins with its production of perfumed gloves for French royalty in the 1600s. The fragrance house itself debuted in 1795 when ancestor Francoise started crafting custom scents for Napoleon Bonaparte. The family’s newest iteration in the business, Rance 1795, has launched more than 35 perfumes since its inception in 2005. Its current group of trusted noses includes family members Giovanni and Jeanne Sandra, along with Luca Maffei and Maurizio Cerizza.
