Givenchy is the eponymous fashion house established by Hubert de Givenchy in 1952. He is famed for his chic, classically French designs. Born in 1927, Givenchy went to art school and then moved to Paris to study under well-known fashion designers. Eventually, he opened his own company and quickly drew the attention of celebrities, most notably Audrey Hepburn. He also designed for Jacqueline Kennedy and Princess Grace of Monaco. His first fragrance was released in 1957.
