Vetiver Carven by Carven, Launched in the year 1957, Vetiver Carven is a woody, aromatic fragrance designed for men. This classic scent was formulated by brilliant perfumer Edouard Hache.
The top opens with citrusy notes of mandarin orange and lemon spiked with the spiciness of clary sage, a relaxing hint of lavender adding a subtle softness. The heart is full and aromatic, floral tones of carnation and jasmine blending with the woody notes of sandalwood and orris root, finishing off with the smooth scent of vetiver. The base is made up of warm, classic ingredients including musk, amber and myrrh. This cologne comes in a petite bottle with a wood-like cap and is recommended for daytime wear.
Carven was founded in the year 1945 by Carmen de Tommasso in Paris, France. She got her inspiration for her luxurious creations from her travels. She launched her first fragrance in the year 1946, only a year after her initial launch of her boutique.
