Institut Tres Bien’s founder, Frédéric Burtin, had a grandmother who owned a beauty salon in the early 20th century. This salon was called Tres Bien, and it was this origin that Burtin got interested in beauty and fashion. When Burtin was still very young, he stumbled upon an old handbook that contained the formula for creating a highly desirable fragrance. He would make this perfume and sell it at his grandmother’s salon. From that moment on, Burtin had a strong passion for the field, and he continued his studies at Isipca. Although he continued to learn, he never forgot his grandmother’s inspirations, and over time, he created his own fragrance house, which became the brand it is today.
