Wild Berries Perfume by Keiko Mecheri, Berries, berries and more berries! Keiko Mecheri Wild Berries is about the pure essence of natural berries, without the sticky added sweetness of most fruity fragrances. It’s passionately romantic, deliciously gourmand and delightfully romantic in a grown-up way.
The fragrance was launched in 2001 and opens with a burst of gorgeous black fruit; tart and sweet black currant meets luscious and juicy blackberry for a heavenly and slightly green top. Tangy, plump raspberries continue the fruity appeal into the heart, joined by savory and mildly astringent cassis. The base is well-grounded with green and earthy notes; a mix of woody tones adds a hint of smoke, while the heady and sensual sillage is created by a delicate and animalic white musk. The perfume starts out very fruity but not too sweet and gently glides into the dry-down. The impact is expensive and niche; a tiny amount goes a long way.
Keiko Mecheri designs eclectic perfumes based on her experience living on three continents, taking the best of each culture and pioneering old perfumery notes into modern and free-spirited fragrances. The ingredients are authentic and finely-crafted to create intimate perfumes that border on the dreamy and ephemeral.
