The middle layer is an earthy mix of geranium and orange flower. At its base, you'll find a warm, woodsy collaboration between notes of oakmoss, vetiver, and tonka bean. Notes is packaged in a sleek black bottle with a matching stopper and modern blue label. It was created by Aurelien Guichard, who is the nose behind scents for several other labels, including Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, and David Beckham.
Fashion designer Robert Piguet founded his eponymous perfume company in 1933 after training with both Redfern and Paul Poiret. By 1938, he was the toast of Paris, and his luxurious salon was a popular destination for the city's best dressed. His brand expanded into fragrances in the 1940s after meeting the esteemed perfumer Germaine Cellier, launching its first perfume, Bandit, in 1944 alongside an outlaw-themed runway collection.
