This leathery scent opens with top notes of artemisia, basil, caraway, and bergamot. Its middle notes consist of carnation, jasmine, geranium, rose, juniper berries, and thyme. Its base contains notes of amber, cedar, oakmoss, patchouli, and leather. This fragrance has heavy sillage and is long lasting.

The maker of this fragrance is Giorgio Beverly Hills. This brand was launched in the United States in 1961 by Fred and Gayle Hayman. Mr. Hayman was originally a hotelier before moving to California to open an eclectic boutique. His desire was to make Beverly Hills into a luxury shopping and lifestyle destination. His boutique sold designer clothes and also became known as a trendy place to hang out for celebrities, featuring a billiards room and a full bar. The company released its first fragrance, named after the brand, in 1981.
