It was introduced by the brand in 1994 and its name translates as a ‘suggestion of copper water’. The pale amber liquid of the scent ensures that visually it lives up to its name. The top notes are sweet and fruity and consist of plum, bergamot, pineapple, peach and praline. The middle notes are floral and comprise tuberose, carnation, orchid, ylang-ylang, jasmine and rose. The base notes give the fragrance warmth and are vanilla, amber, sandalwood, benzoin, cedar and musk.
Claude Montana was born in Paris, France in 1949. He launched the fashion house, that would take his last name, in 1979 and began with producing jewelry and leather goods. It launched its first fragrance for women in 1986 and followed this with a cologne for men in 1989.
