Top notes are peach, nectarine, apricot, caraway seeds, exotic anise and cooling mint leaves which create a dazzling start that’s sweet, vibrant and electrifying all at once. Middle notes of powdery violet, breezy lily-of-the-valley, warm cinnamon, rose oil, iris, jasmine, litchi, elegant rose and carnation infuse the elixir with a decadent floral bouquet with a hint of Oriental spice for added flair. Finally, base notes of styrax, milky coconut, benzoin, fresh-cut cedar, white musk, vetiver, patchouli, oakmoss, golden amber and sweet vanilla complete the vast array of ingredients for a lush, inviting fragrance that’s old-fashioned and charming without losing its modern edge.

This hypnotizing perfume was developed by the expert Sophia Grojsman for the French fashion house of Yves Saint Laurent. It was launched in 1993, though it was originally simply called, “Champagne.”
