Carven Le Parfum Perfume by Carven, Carven Le Parfum is a women’s floral woody musk perfume from 2013.

Created by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, this scent has white floral, floral, sweet, fruity, and woody main accords. Mandarin blossom, white hyacinth, and apricot top notes predominate, along with sweet pea, jasmine, and ylang-ylang middle notes. Sandalwood, osmanthus, and Indonesian patchouli leaf comprise the base notes. Its moderate longevity and sillage make this fragrance ideal for spring day wear.

Carven is the fashion, accessories, and fragrance house founded by Marie-Louise Carven in 1945. She opened her shop on the Champs-Elysees in Paris to cater to petite women like herself. Ma Griffe, her first fragrance, was launched in 1946. Named after her signature fashion piece, a cotton summer dress with mint-green and white stripes, the perfume was freely distributed throughout Paris on small striped parachutes as a promotion in 1954. Carven Parfums has resumed developing fragrances after a long absence.
