L'aigle De La Victoire Perfume by Rance, L'aigle De La Victoire perfume is a leathery, woody fragrance with a hint of smokiness.

Reformulated and relaunched in 2015, this earthy scent has refreshing top notes of Mediterranean bergamot and grapefruit. The sweetness of raspberries coupled with the aromatic scent of birch make up the heart notes, before finishing off with cedar and sandalwood, giving this scent a spicy, robust base. Hints of patchouli and vanilla give a subtle yet musky finishing touch. Rance is a French company founded by a family of the same name.

Originally in the 1600s, the family was making scented gloves for the aristocracy to wear. By 1795, the company had begun to focus solely on making perfumes. They created fragrances for the Emperor and the Empress, and have continued producing perfumes through the modern times, generation after generation. Today, the company continues to work in partnership with other brilliant mints in the fragrance industry, such as Maurizio Cerizza.
