The brand house holds licenses for many professional sporting institutions, such as the Nhl, Nfl, Nba and Mlb. The company was first founded in 1971 by David Beckerman, who wanted to produce uniforms for school athletic programs at high schools. It was not until 1976 that the company would acquire licensing agreements for professional sports leagues. The brand is still in production to this day.
