1902 Violette by Berdoues, 1902 Violette is a feminine fragrance launched by Berdoues in 2009. While the perfume is designed around the intoxicating violet flower, the overall accords of it are more sweet, powdery and woody than floral.
The top, middle and base notes manage to swirl together throughout the life of the scent to create a sweet experience that is strong yet not overwhelming. Sweet notes of raspberry, bergamot, lilac, jasmine, iris, opoponax and violet mix with woody, earthy notes of almond bark, violet leaf and musk.
Berdoues was founded in 1902 and has gone through four generations of the family. The French fragrance brand has in-house perfumers who design all of the scents released by the company.
This unique approach to perfumery sets the brand apart from other scent houses. 1902 Violette continues the feminine theme with a light purple liquid showcased in a clear flask. The sliver stopper complements the white label that includes the name of the perfume and brand.
