Released in 2003, this perfume has citrus, fresh spicy, and woody main accords, along with moderate longevity and sillage. Ginger, bergamot, mandarin orange, and cardamom head notes open this fragrance, followed by heart notes of jasmine, lily, violet leaf, rose, black currant, pink pepper, and peony. Armand Basi is the son of Mercedes Basi, who open a knitwear shop in Barcelona, Spain, during the 1940s. By 1948, Armand and his brother Josep oversaw business operations and by 1958, the family opened a factory to produce garments made from Scottish yarn. The namesake fashion and accessories brand started in 1987, with Lluis Juste de Nin, a cousin to the brothers, acting as creative director. The fragrance line was added in 1999.
