Bijan Cologne by Bijan, Bijan Men opens powerfully with top notes of lavender, nutmeg, musk, oakmoss, bergamot and sage, with fruity notes of lemon and mandarin as well. Spicy cinnamon, fir and sandalwood lead the heart that rounds out with floral notes of iris, carnation, jasmine, rose and ylang-ylang, finishing with tarragon and honey to help smooth sharp edges. The scent is grounded with base notes of rosemary, clove, patchouli, vetiver, vanilla, cedar, tonka bean, leather and musk to create a well-balanced, masculine fragrance with high sillage.
Bijan Pakzad is responsible for this designer fragrance. In 1973, he left his home of Iran to set up his exclusive Beverly Hills boutique three years later in 1976. His boutique is so exclusive that clientele are only served by appointment. Pakzad released this fragrance in March 1987.
Prior to its release, Pakzad first found great success with another award-winning perfume for men. The Fragrance Foundation awarded Bijan Men “Men’s Fragrance of the Year” in 1988.
