Charriol Royal Platinum by Charriol, Charriol Royal Platinum is an Oriental woody men’s cologne with warm spicy, balsamic, oud, leather, and smoky main accords. Introduced in 2011, this fragrance was developed by perfumer Guillaume Flavigny of Givaudan. Head notes of saffron, ginger, and chili pepper present this scent, with leather, incense, and rose notes at the heart. Oud, amber, and benzoin base notes conclude this composition. With moderate sillage and long lasting longevity, this fragrance wears best on fall and winter nights.
Philippe Charriol founded his jewelry and luxury watch company in 1983. Based in Geneva, Switzerland, the brand became immediately known for its cable watch, also known as the Celtic Collection. The product offerings expanded with leather goods and writing instruments in 1989 and the brand became known simply as Charriol in 1999. New fragrances began appearing on the market in 2008, with French fragrance company Cofinluxe holding a worldwide license and producing the brand’s fragrances.
