Revlon, first founded in 1932, is a famous cosmetic company based out of the United States. Joseph and Charles Revson founded the company during the Great Depression, and back then, the business offered a single product: nail polish. This nail polish stood apart from others in the marketplace due to the fact it was developed with pigments in lieu of dyes. Many drug stores and department stores placed the nail polish on the shelves, and the brand became an instant hit.
