Demeter Fragrance Library was established in 1993. Founded by business partner Christopher Gable and American fragrance crafter Christopher Brosius, the company launched its first fragrances in 1996 – Tomato, Grass and Dirt. The label has produced nearly 400 perfumes to date, with popular signature scents such as Zombie, Scottish Shortbread, Sugar Plum, Gin and Tonic, Ambergris and Apple Blossom. The company later established The Library of Fragrance, a European division that offers fragrances in several Eu countries.
