Daniel Aubusson established his French perfumery, Aubusson in the early 1980’s. Its flagship fragrance, Histoire d’Amour was launched in 1984 to much acclaim. A companion scent, Histoire d’Amour was introduced in 2003. There are 15 scents in the collection, released between 1984 and 2004. The company has been acquired by First American Brands, a privately held organization. It has fragrance licenses in the lifestyle, prestige and children’s categories.
