Eau De Patou Cologne by Jean Patou, Eau De Patou by Jean Patou launched in 1976, and it is a great masculine fragrance. The top notes consist of aldehydes, basil, mandarin, bergamot, lime and lemon. The heart of the cologne includes cedar wood, fruits, cloves, iris, patchouli and jasmine. Lastly, the base has labdanum, civet, amber, musk and moss.
Jean Patou opened a boutique in 1919. The first fragrance released under his own name was called Amour Amour, which he developed to be worn by brunettes. He also created two other fragrances at this time for blondes and red heads. Despite Patou passing away in 1936, his legacy lives on.
The brand continues releasing exceptional new perfumes to this day. Eau De Patou was created by Jean Kerleo. He has put his talents to good use for this particular brand, but he also founded a scent archive known as Osmotheque. This particular fragrance has since been discontinued.
