Drawing their naming inspiration from a winning racehorse, the couple Margaretha and Wolfgang Ley founded their fashion company in 1978. The company’s headquarters resides in Munich, Germany; however, its products can be found in many international markets.

Margaretha’s background was in modeling, but she had experience with tailoring. She utilized this knowledge to design clothing that was vibrant, interesting and unique. This led the company to embrace designs that possessed feminine elements, bold color and contrasting details.
