The top notes are a citrusy pop of mandarin orange, pink pepper and red berries. The heart notes open to the floral decadence of jasmine, rose and gardenia. The base notes are amber, vanilla and blonde woods.
The French Connection was founded in 1972 in London, England. Stephen Marks created the brand with the intention of selling mid-level womenswear; however, he expanded into menswear in 1976. The company employs 2,200 people and makes £153 million in revenue a year. The business began using the initialism Fcuk as both a branding opportunity and a method of stoking controversy in 1991. Though the brand stopped using the initialism in advertising in 2005, it is still used on some men’s clothing and in-store adverts.
