Halston Z-14 Cologne by Halston, Released in 1974, Halston Z-14 is a classic fragrance that features woody, aromatic and citrus accords. The guiding hands of Vincent Marcello and Max Gavarry helped create this timeless aroma.
The top notes breath a floral and citrus expression of cypress, gardenia, basil, green notes, bergamot and lemon. The middle notes spice things up with coriander, patchouli, jasmine, vetiver, cedar, cinnamon and geranium. The base lays down the smoothness of leather, tonka bean, amber, musk, benzoin and oakmoss.
Known for his clean, minimalist designs, Roy H. Frowick was the founder of the Halston fashion line. His brand was a dominant force in fashion starting in the 1970s. One of his design philosophies was the idea that a woman could wear the same thing for the entire day on any occasion, which at the time, was a revolutionary thought. Frowick had numerous famous clients over the years, including Jacqueline Kennedy, Elizabeth Taylor, Anjelica Huston, Gene Tierney, Lauren Bacall, Bianca Jagger and Liza Minnelli.
