Histoire D'eau Amethyste by Mauboussin, A lovely floral citrus perfume for women, Histoire D'eau Amethyste is a unique and addictive fragrance made for winter and fall wear. The strongest notes in this perfume are orange and peony, with musk, mandarin orange, white woods, and white flowers following to round out the collection of scents. A versatile perfume, it is often described as having a fragrance similar to fresh black grapes.
Founded in France in 1827, Mauboussin began as a jewelry company known for artistic and unique pieces. Nearly a hundred years later, in 1925, the house received an award for their participation in the “Exposition des Arts Décoratifs”, and from then on they were known as makers of exquisite jewelry.
The new millennium saw the release of the house’s first fragrance, and though it is world-renowned for its timeless jewelry, as big in France as Tiffany’s in the U.S., it is also becoming known for its fragrances for men and women.
